There is a different between a nerf and a skill change. It's really a matter of opinion frankly... and I think that's the bottom line. I would say there are changes more than there are just nerfs.. besides there is a tone of skills so you have options to use others if you don't like how one has been changed.. it's not the end of the world... I don't like that some of the skills I used to use on my ritualist now give exhaustion.. so I simply took them out and played around with my build and found something else I liked... and now I'm fine.

Overpowered builds are getting nerfed. Good builds are staying as they are, untouched. Just because they "nerf" a skill doesn't mean it's completely useless. Just look at HB and see how many people abuse SP sins still, or look at how strong price of failure is in hex builds.

By becoming an ele. Apparently bad players think having 120 energy is the way to go for emanagement, which is why you see so many full illusion magic eles out there in RA, because conjure nightmare is too much energy for them to handle on a mesmer.

Anyone who thinks nerfing soul reaping will disable the necro's ability to cast 25 energy skills is pretty much like that ele I described up there.

hey im glad sp sins are nerfed...and its not even nerfed that they are useless...but instead the recent skill balances makes it so they arent as effective at killing.

And no...there is nothing wrong with soul reaping...it works fine...so deal...personally i think the recent balances were some of the best (after they made the final tweaks) as they got rid of the ever hated rit spike yet made the party support/flag running rit still usable, and there is now some diversity in sin builds...i just miss my beautiful good old fashioned aegis T.T

I will say this again, nothing and I mean nothing in this game has been or ever will be overpowered!!!

It comes down to skill, orginazation, and good tactics, with, mind you, a lot of practice. Then once you learn those things, you can take any skill and make it seem overpowered on the grounds that you have mastered it.

My suggestion is to look at the skills being used and review other skills that will defeat them, or counter them, then devise a build and develop it with some good old fashion practice.

Or you could take the easy way out and bitch that the skill or build is overpowered because you SUCK and the other player is better then you.

Skills can't be overpowered? Seriously? Ok, logical list of why the following are not overpowered to all hell.

Signet of Might
Original IWAY with stacking orders and IAS
Original rit spirits - you could have an infinite amount
Sand Shards
D/mos with contemplation of purity
Energizing finale/the original paragay build
Original spirit spam with ranger spirits

Those are just some of the more insanely imbalanced things that have existed. There are plenty of levels between this stuff, which was game-breaking, and good, balanced skills.

its not about a stupid mistake here, you still must consider that not all people are native speakers. It must be at school, so what? People that can't bring arguments often rebuke with their opponents on grammatical mistakes, while that is of no importance.

In the end, you still you judge ANet with a judgment that really is near retardedness and not argumented, go to bed. The nerfs are good as they induce more skillful play instead of spam and forget skills. If you think WoW is better go and play that, discuss about WoW on WoW fora, and leave this forum. You, apparently, are only trolling here.

KTHXBAI as some say here.

Really I'am angry that GW has destroyed itself by nerfing the game into a joke.In my eyes anyway, been a loyal fan for a long time, but not anymore.Love has turned to hate.
It amazing that anyone who has been around since the good ole days still plays. My large friends list went gray long ago but I held on to hope only to be nerfed again and again. I lived and adapted with the destruction of many many many builds.
Adopt with the change, no way Jack-been there done that.

The nerfs have left me with a severe sour taste for the company as a whole.

I do still enjoying visiting these forums, reading about more nerfs. It never ends and everytime someone starts a thread such as this I will be there to comment.

My Judgement is far for tardness. Its based on being there playing for hours upon hours then getting kicked in the rocks over and over.
Nerfs-AoE , PB, SB, minion cap, Mob Scatter from tripple/cyclone axe, Necro racial nerf,Wammo armor , LOOT SCALING are you effin kidding me.

So you would prefer a power creep over time? Ok, because that'll be fun to play when everyone has tormented weapons and spells that insta-kill monsters.

I think I can say this with confidence that it is not a wrong statement, but it seems to me you have a very different perspective on how this game needs to be played than other people. Is doing the same thing over and over for you actually fun?

Like I said.. i think people just over use the word nerf and that's the problem. Hardly any skill if any is useless even if it can no longer be used for a particular build.. it still would have a use somewhere and for pve you can use pretty much anything so..

Power creep, tormented weapons, insta kill?
Havent played in awile so not sure what your talking bout.

Who cares what weapons others are using?I never did.
I used tons of collector items until I farmed that rare skin for me!
Never did I spam the trade channel waisting time while I could be farming.Depended on white drops to pay for 15Ks, end game NF armor, runes, materials.

Farm, farm, farm thats what I like to do over and over, pushing a build to the breaking point only to come out on top with skill. What a rush it was.

OMG what will the game ever do without those hardcore farmers who get a super rush out of watching their plow mules rear end row after row over and over?

this is not farm wars but the nintendo game HARVEST MOON sounds just your speed and you can meet a girl in it even

GW is far from the worst for farming grindfests.

Well there's yer problem. You're playing the wrong game. Guild Wars is notoriously low on the brain-numbing grind found in most games that makes you want to bash your head into your monitor after 30 minutes.

If for some reason you like Sisyphean games, I guess that's your thing, but I'm pretty sure most people around here aren't that into doing the same thing thousands of times. You might try http://www.progressquest.com/

Learn how to adapt. But since you said you don't want to, too bad for you. This game isn't about doing the same thing for 2 years.
